Silhouetted (second try)

Its about story of the famous cartoon (Tom & Jerry ) , but i draw the story out by using silhouetted form .

Documentary

We were plan to choose music as our documentary topic. We did this because our team member mostly are like to play musics . Example Kelvin is a drummer , Nicholas is a guitarist , Shafiq also know how to play musical instruments. At first we make an interview with one chinese singer . After that we make another interview with the SSK band's Dj . We feel more interesting in doing documentary about dj, so we decide to choose dj but not chinese singer . We were interview the dj of ssk and he were explain what is dj and its purpose also .

Batik

We were went to a batik factory to do an assignment for 2d design and visual culture . I will chose to use the chicken as my drawing because i think that chicken is a beautiful and special creature . I will =draw the chicken with such a colorful color is because that time i am with a joy mood .The Colorful chicken , The word KFC and the golden egg is like represent to the KFC company , Chicken to them is like a Chicken the can lay golden egg . Chicken bring a lot of benefit to them .

Silhouetted

I have done two drawing for the silhouetted . The first drawing is a short story about a boy who went fishing . But he wait from morning untill night he get a lot of rubbish but not fish. When he fell dissapointed and wanted to give up suddenly his get something, Its a mermaid .He was happy and like the mermaid very much but the mermaid jump back into the sea . After that he found that the mermaid will scared and jump back into the sea is because her father was appear and staring at the boy .The Father mermaid wanted to kill the boy , but the boy find out a way to defeat his enemy . This is summary of the short story .  

The second silhouetted i did is a scene in the railway station . 

Tessellation

The Figure and Ground tessellation .The white space with a dote is the fish.

Closure tessellation . The white and blue with a face .

Similarity tessellation . Its a shape of chicken in yellow and black color .

Proximity Tessellation . A picture of wheel with different tone .

Continuity Tessellation . Its a picture with a running man . The green color object is the dust .

Alignment Tessellation . the red and yellow object id the ants .Look from far distance it look like a shape of bee nest

The Paper Cutting

Here are the different type of paper cutting , its total have 8 . The first one is the movement , Its look like water from side moving to other side . 

The second paper cutting is the hierarchy paper cutting. 

Third one is the Symmetry balance paper cutting . It is the picture of a skull with a pair of horn with the spiky mouth . 

Next, this is the  assymetrical balance .It look like a seesaw .The left side look like is heavier then right side . But its balance . 

The picture on the right side is the repetition's paper cutting .

2 dimensional studies ,26 september

          First time i am sitting infront of computer for blogging . Well , Mr charles brief us on tuesday in 2 dimensional studies class about what is 2 dimensional studies and some different kind of painting such as photographic , abstract, and many more . He told us to bring rocks, leaves ,as long as it is natural thing. We had to made a self portrait with those things  . But i have no idea what materials i want to use for the self portrait. 

 

                The next day , i just bring along some charcoal and different type of leaves. In class , everyone were starting to busy with their self portrait , but i were stunning at there and thinking of  ideas . Finally i have an idea to made a 2d self portrait using those leaves . After 2 hours ++ of doing , finally it done  =D ! 

                During the semester break lack of practicing drawing so my drawing were regress , well it still gt a bit look like me ,  the charcoal i bring just use to draw some streak and pattern on face .......
